BIO

I have been a jeweler, an attorney, a professional hedonist, a spiritual seeker, and, most often, all and none of these things.

I am not unique: we are multiple, and our essence rests in the spaces between apparent oppositions.

My new Light collection is based on the mystery that occurs at these intersections: the play of color and light, a flash of contrast, an unexpected angle, a soft curve.

My hope is that you will wear them to reflect and express your own powerful individuality, complexity, and beauty.

Amanda Linn began her training as a goldsmith in 1999 with Linda Kindler Priest at the Museum School in Boston.  She then studied intensively at The Jewelry Arts Institute in Manhattan and launched a fine jewelry business in 2001.  Her fine jewelry was represented by Louis Boston, Persona Jewelry, Objets du Desir, and Christensen-Heller Gallery. In 2017-2018, she completed a Post-Baccalaureate at the Oregon College of Art and Craft, which dramatically expanded her materials knowledge and honed her craft and design sensibilities.  She lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband Michael Newsome, their three dogs and two goats.
